The legendary Hollywood celebrity image consultant from Beverly Hills, Daniel DiCriscio, has endorsed my new book “The Mystery of Belief: How to Manifest Your Dreams”. DiCriscio and I connected in February 2007 when I was in staying in Manhattan Beach, LA to network and learn how Hollywood “thinks”. Daniel has been a big inspiration and endorsed my previous book “A Ticket to Prosperity”.  It’s no wonder that his clients range from: Pamela Anderson, Marilyn Manson, Faye Resnick to the late Anna Nicole Smith. At the back of “The Mystery of Belief” DiCriscio is quoted: “Christopher Dines will show how the impossible is possible and how you can do it within your own belief”.

DiCriscio supports the ideal of “following your heart”, which has led him to manifest wonderful things. The truth is that when you follow your heart, you’ll attract great people into your life. I have applied this principle and it works. In “The Mystery of Belief”, Chapter 1: “Follow Your Heart”, I wrote:

“When you follow your heart, you will have an invisible shield to protect you from any emotional disappointments that may appear as you create your dream.  This invisible shield will protect your belief.  It will expel worries and annoying doubts that may try to steal your peace of mind.  You will develop confidence and a calm persona that will keep you grounded when things take off for you.  People from all walks of life will be drawn to you because they will unconsciously pick up that you are tuned into: “planes unknown to man”. And this invisible shield is always present, right now, in this very moment.”

Having a positive self-image is essential if you want to make good things happen. People who are cynical or have low opinions of themselves might suggest that to have a positive self-image is “brash” “cocky” or “arrogant”.  If you want to really excel, having a positive self-image is imperative. When you see yourself as someone who CAN contribute something valuable to society, when you see yourself as someone who CAN make a positive difference in life, everything starts to change.

People will take you more seriously, due to the energy you are releasing into the universe. As a result of seeing yourself as a winner, you will attract new opportunities to grow, serve and enhance life. Even if you are at the early stages of creating your goal, having a strong self-image is one of the first steps. For instance, if you see yourself as someone who has integrity, who has a positive moral code and someone who can execute a great idea, you will not want your value to be diminished by others. Conversely, if you have low self-esteem and have a negative self-image, you will settle for crumbs and leftovers.

Positive self-talk is just as important. The human mind has over 50,000 thoughts a day. Unless one relentlessly trains the mind to think more positive thoughts than negative, most of a human being’s mental activity will be plagued with worry, fear and anxiety. Positive self-talk helps to overcome this mental and emotional prison of negative thinking. Consider an all-time great athlete like Muhammad Ali repeating to himself: “I am the greatest” or Floyd Mayweather Jr, repeating: “I’m the best and this is God-given talent.” Are these arrogant statements? Not really! The fact is, they have used positive self-talk to create unwavering self-belief and if you are going to make a positive impact in a world full of cynics, you had better make sure deep self-belief is properly in place, covered with a thick skin. Seeing that the subconscious mind can guide all of your wildest dreams to come true and only responds to repetition, it makes sense to build empowering self-talk. Fay Weldon once said: “Only one thing registers on the subconscious mind: repetitive application – practice. What you practice is what you manifest.”

Repetitive self-talk and creating a strong self-image gave me the courage to leave the music industry in order to coach and write books on human potential. For over a year, I repeated bold statements into my subconscious mind, a thousand times a day. When I go running, I still do the same with my I-Pod playing. Did it pay off? Of course it did! And it will pay off for you too if, you put in the action. Dennis Waitely once said: “Relentless, repetitive self-talk is what changes our self-image.” The quickest way to create a positive self-image and to amplify self-talk is to feel worthy, to feel abundant and that the universe is on your side. Positive feeling, as always, is the maestro for manifesting your dreams.

The founder and president of The Love Foundation, Harold W. Becker expressed it like this: “Simply be love.  Let the love within your heart be the focus of your awareness throughout the day.  Allow yourself to be accepting, forgiving, peaceful, joyful and in harmony with yourself and all life around you.  Just be!”

Global Love Day is a great reminder that we have a choice to be happy, joyful and at peace, through the power of Unconditional Love and acceptance. This brings us to a place of stillness and inner bliss.

What can you do today to make your life more peaceful? What can you do today to make your environment more pleasant? How can you help someone and show compassion without seeking credit for it? All of these acts will brings more joy into the world. I wish you peace of mind. Happy Global Love Day.

As children, this gift is encouraged to blossom until we fall into the limiting world of academic education. All of a sudden, we are told that to dream, imagine or fantasize is childish and not worthy of our time. Unfortunately, most kids and their parents buy into this and as a result, never reach their full potential. Hundreds of millions of teenagers are pushed to study subjects that won’t benefit them in their future careers. The fact is that most companies do not care what grades you have. They are looking for people who give extra effort, who are good at communicating, who have self-belief and who have integrity.

Warren Buffett, who has given society over USD$30billion in philanthropy reinforces this: “Somebody once said that in looking for people to hire, you look for three qualities: integrity, intelligence, and energy. And if you don’t have the first, the other two will kill you. You think about it; it’s true. If you hire somebody without “integrity”, you really want them to be dumb and lazy.”

Buffett is right! After all, a certificate of academic achievement can simply mean you have a sharp short-term memory. Having a good memory is handy, however it’s not enough to enable you to become an excellent servant in the world.

I must admit, I have always been a rebel. I left school at fifteen and when I did attend, I was gathering money to buy music and focused on a DJ career in music (which was not considered a worthy subject to study for exams). Nevertheless, I followed my heart and dreams and made it happen with the universe. I did this by allowing myself to go deep within my imagination and started to put in action.

Today, as a human potential author and coach, I encourage men, women and children to sit down on a regular basis and dream about the life they wish to live. If you investigate the most effective achievers in human history, they had a dream, they believed in it, they took action and NEVER quit. How often do you actually sit down and ignite your imagination?

In one of my books, “A Ticket to Prosperity” I wrote the following in “Chapter 1: Dream & Fantasize”:

“Once you are locked into your fantasy, begin at once to draw your images onto a blank piece of paper. Take as long as possible. Trust that the ink on paper represents the wheels in motion of you experiencing your dream. Once you have a clear idea of what you want, which resonates from your heart, decide to take action until the fantasy has become a reality. But remember, you must begin at once to take action, no matter how small your steps are. It’s the creation of something that is more rewarding than the actual finished product.”

It’s imperative to learn the art of creating tunnel vision, when working to execute your ideas. Unlike having a regular vision of how you would like to live, this tunnel vision limits all other possibilities of detouring from your goal. When your vision is crystal clear and you are crossing off your “to do lists” (step by step goals to help your dream manifest), this makes life so much easier. For instance, if you have decided you want to be a PR for a record company, it would be rather silly to start a course in carpentry. Instead it would be wise to do everything necessary to master your craft as an irreplaceable PR for a record company by studying the music industry, building up your contacts, studying the latest geographic and marketing strategies and by working on your own personal development (raising your human potential).

Every small step taken with excellence, consistently, will eventually create outstanding results and will see you living your highest vision. It doesn’t matter how small or how big your daily, weekly, monthly and annual goals are, as long as they lead you in the direction of your vision.

Having a daily goal list is something I have practised from a very young age. It makes sense and clears the mind of confusion and anxiety. As you get into the habit of this, creating practical steps on a daily basis, you will notice that you have created momentum in your work or line of duty.

I remember an old saying, “If you’re going to play golf, always focus on where you want the ball to land, rather than looking down.” This is a universal Law. Always focus on what you want, rather than what you don’t want. This is one of the key secrets to success!

All success begins with belief. It was Walt Disney who said: ““When you believe in a thing, believe in it all the way, implicitly and unquestionably.”  Brian Tracy said: “Whatever you believe with feeling becomes your reality” and the Greatest, Muhammad Ali said: “It’s lack of faith that makes people afraid of meeting challenges, and I believe in myself.”

Study any biography of men and women who accomplished great things and who gave value to their community and you will see that they believed in themselves and of course, their work. As a life coach and author, I naturally encourage people to dig deep and to believe in themselves.  I ask them to give up their limiting beliefs and focus on the feeling of success and feeling worthy. Why not do the same? Deep within you is genius potential waiting to be expressed. You have incredible and limitless power that flows through your consciousness, into your thoughts, feelings and actions. No matter how many obstacles present themselves or how many mistakes you have made, you have what it takes in you to create a better life. However, this takes a deep belief that you can do it. In my new book “The Mystery of Belief: How to Manifest Your Dreams”, I wrote:

“If you want a greater life, claim it and work on the belief that you are worthy of this.  Focus on this belief and meditate.  Indulge into the feeling of worthiness and watch the miracles begin to flow into your external world.  It is your subconscious thoughts, emotions and feelings that dictate what you attract into your life.  And when you begin to feel deserving and worthy of goodness then you will be a magnet to success and prosperity.”

Right now, in this very moment, you can decide to believe in yourself. It’s that simple! And as you begin to believe, the world will also believe in you too. More opportunities will come to pass and a deep sense of self-worth will begin to dictate your actions. This is when miracles manifest into your external world. Keep believing!

The fact is that most of the world’s population DO NOT have your best interests at heart. This is not to say that human beings do not care for one another. The majority of people actually have a positive moral compass, however when someone decides to step out of the box, this naturally jars the masses that are bound to self-made limitation.  It was Einstein who said: “Great spirits have always found violent opposition from mediocrities. The latter cannot understand it when a man does not thoughtlessly submit to hereditary prejudices but honestly and courageously uses his intelligence.”

When you decide to live in a certain way, to live by your OWN values or stand up for what you believe is right, very likely you will come up against some opposition or derision. When you make a decision to become successful (however you define success), you will notice so called “friends” either try to talk you out of it (which is none of their business) or some will become envious.

Everything in life has a price. Nothing can be removed without being replaced. And nothing can be replaced without being removed. If you find yourself in a position where your current crowd of associates are extremely negative and if you are working on becoming a positive member of society (who wants a better life), some people will naturally de-magnetize from you. This can be a lonely place. However, rest assured that new people will come your way: souls that want you to win, who believe in you and who believe in cooperation rather than competition.

I too, applied this principle at the age of twenty-one. I have carefully cherry-picked positive people from a negative crowd over the years and can honestly say that today, the people in my close circle want me to win and I too, want them to win. We also have one another’s best interests at heart. We mastermind together on a regular basis, share connections, share ideas and encourage one another in how to create a better life. Why not do the same? All it takes is a decision and courage! Remember that we become the people we mix with.
