True prosperity cannot be attained in the external world. Everything in the external world will eventually dissolve . Material possessions, even things that we have created will one day vanish. The sun, moon, stars and even planet earth will one day turn back into “no form” and disappear back into pure, undiluted Energy. True prosperity is a state of consciousness (prosperity consciousness) that does not worship materialism although it uses material objects to play with, during the human experience. There is nothing wrong with enjoying material objects, however human sickness develops when one is emotionally attached to “things”. In other words, people lose their sanity when they make money or property their god, rather than embracing the state of their consciousness first.
The way to live a peaceful life is to adopt spiritual principles first and then enjoy material gain, never the other way round. If we can be happy with very little money, we can be happy with large sums of it too. If, however, we fall into the trap of believing that “the next big thing will make me happy”, true peace of mind will elude us even if financial success comes our way . We’ll always be focused on the “next thing” rather than embracing this moment, which is a tragic and futile way to live.
If we continually strive to “get money” then the chances are very little it will happen. However, when we focus on providing a service or “going the extra mile” while providing our work or products, enjoying the experience, enjoying the moment, living in the present (not the future), rather than trying to manipulate the outcomes & results, we will attract things to enjoy. Remember that the Universe gives us what our consciousness reflects. If one has an attitude of “need” “desperate wanting” & “yearning for things” then the person will attract these experiences into their reality and experience. Remember that one’s reality is a mirror image of one’s consciousness. Get rid of “needy” thoughts and watch how your external life will change for the better!
In “A Ticket to Prosperity”, Chapter 2 “Feel & Meditate on Prosperity”, I wrote that:
“We are not going through an “economy crisis”; we are going through a “spiritual transition”. On a deeper level, the collective consciousness of humanity is awakening. Nature destroys and rebuilds to evolve a new paradigm. Human beings are natural; therefore our creation must also be destroyed to rebuild; so that new ways of providing service can develop. Nature abhors a vacuum.”
