Questions

water drop 300x200 QuestionsDear friend,

Human beings have one of the most powerful tools to co-create their own reality with the universe through the power of asking questions. When we ask a question, we immediately open ourselves up to experiencing a new unborn potential reality. It is our questions that lead to answers and this ultimately creates our perception of the world. The art of asking questions is to ask empowering ones which will lead us in a new positive direction.

For example, see how you feel after asking the following questions: “How would I like to live?” “How can I improve my health & well-being?”  How can I be loving & compassionate? “How would I like to design my day to day activities?” “What sort of career would I like to have?”  “How can I be grateful?” “What would it feel like to be living my ideal life?” All of these are positive questions which will lead us to answers that can bring dramatic changes into our lives.

Now let’s see what happens when you ask negative questions: “Why does it never work out?” “How do they always get to be so lucky?” “Why can’t I earn as much as he does?” “Why can’t I ever get my break?” “How did she manage to pull that off?” These questions can only lead you to think and feel negative emotions, which will disarm any chance of co-creating a positive life with the universe.

It makes sense to ask positive questions once a day, letting go of the outcome (letting the universe gently reveal the answers in good time) and continue to be appreciative for what one has. This action of co-creation always works and brings a sense of inner-peace, inner-calmness and a joy for living. It is always wise to ask questions after a deep meditation. This stills the mind and leaves us open for pure consciousness to guide us to a playful reality.

Imagination: An Undervalued Gift

internet brain effecting memory 300x292 Imagination: An Undervalued Gift

Dear friend,

The gift of imagination and being able to dream is a divine wonderful gift. The incredible thing is that it doesn’t cost us a penny to sit down and dream about how we would like to improve our lives. And considering that every action is first created in our imagination, truly we were born with a most spectacular and creative instrument. God has given us infinite possibilities to co-create our reality through the use of imagination. It was Albert Einstein who said: “imagination is more important than knowledge”.

As children, this gift is encouraged to blossom until we fall into the limiting world of academic education. All of a sudden, we are told that to dream, imagine or fantasize is childish and not worthy of our time. Unfortunately, most kids and their parents buy into this and as a result, never reach their full potential. Hundreds of millions of teenagers are pushed to study subjects that won’t benefit them in their future careers. The fact is that most companies do not care what grades you have. They are looking for people who give extra effort, who are good at communicating and who have integrity.

Warren Buffett, who has given society over USD$30billion in philanthropy reinforces this: “Somebody once said that in looking for people to hire, you look for three qualities: integrity, intelligence, and energy. And if you don’t have the first, the other two will kill you. You think about it; it’s true. If you hire somebody without “integrity”, you really want them to be dumb and lazy.”

After all, a certificate of academic achievement can simply mean you have a sharp short-term memory. Having a good memory is handy, however it’s not enough to enable you to become an excellent servant in the world.

In one of my books, “A Ticket to Prosperity” I wrote the following in “Chapter 1: Dream & Fantasize”:

“Once you are locked into your fantasy, begin at once to draw your images onto a blank piece of paper. Take as long as possible. Trust that the ink on paper represents the wheels in motion of you experiencing your dream. Once you have a clear idea of what you want, which resonates from your heart, decide to take action until the fantasy has become a reality. But remember, you must begin at once to take action, no matter how small your steps are. It’s the creation of something that is more rewarding than the actual finished product.”
