Inspiration

Inspiration is a thrilling and extraordinary energy that is available to every human being. It is a universal entity that moves men, women and children to perform incredible works. When we are inspired, we are not focused on “why it won’t work out”. Instead, we are focused on creating, manifesting and building our dreams. Our emotional state can change within seconds when we have a glimpse of inspiration.

Inspirational thoughts and feelings are generally clouded by negative conditioning and limiting beliefs. The more that people are engaged in brain-deadening activities and negative discussions, the harder it becomes for inspiration to flow within and through an individual.

How can you stay inspired?

* Think happy, peaceful and uplifting thoughts on a regular basis. If you’re going to be thinking (we have over 60,000 thoughts a day), think happiness.

* Listen to your favourite songs and music on a regular basis. Let the music work through you!

* Watch inspirational films, documentaries and television programs.

* Continue to read inspirational books and make notes. Digest every word and reflect on what you have read.

* Get into the habit of meditating on a daily basis. Simply focusing on the life breath is a meditation. Take regular deep breaths and pay attention to your heart-beat.

Creating New Goals 2012

Blue Sea 300x225 Training & Coaching Blog

Creating new positive goals is a worthy thing to do. We grow and evolve as human beings every time we manifest our dreams. As we flow into the year 2012, it’s essential to reflect on 2011 and appreciate what we have learned, in the hope of improving ourselves for the New Year. We can have fun playing and shaping new goals, while working on our individual and collective dreams. We were not just put on earth to simply create nothing. We have been given different talents and gifts to share with the world. There are no limits to our potential! Therefore we ought to nurture our talents and enjoy the process.

Whether you want to lose or put on weight, earn more money, learn how to meditate or how to ski, when you create a new goal, you are placing a sense of urgency on manifesting your dream. This is the fun part. We literally shape our own reality through our thoughts, feelings and actions (our attitude).

What can you do right now to create goals?

* First of all, make a note and reflect on 2011. Be very honest with yourself. Write down what you learned at a mental, emotional and spiritual level of awareness. Be aware of how you can improve and of course, be grateful. Appreciate the many blessings of 2011, no matter how big or small they “appear” to be.

* Write down a list of things you would like to experience, create or manifest in 2012. Follow your heart and listen to intuitive thoughts and feelings before you make any decisions.

* Meditate and bring your attention to gratitude. Always flow into a new day with appreciation and a thankful attitude.

* And finally, share your goal list with at least one person you trust. They can gently encourage you to persist and can hold you accountable i.e. “if you decide to quit smoking, they can carefully remind you not to start up again.” Remember that all great men and women have always had a good team around them.

Laughter

types of humor11 300x218 Training & Coaching BlogLaughter is a powerful and healing energy, which brings tremendous joy into the human experience.  For thousands of years, comedians have been in demand to bring relief to the masses from to day to day earthly mundane affairs and struggles. Kings and Queens, Caesars and Emperors always had several “jesters” to bring them laughter. Over the last one hundred years, since our technological advances have improved, the general public has been able to experience comedy on a mass scale. With channels such as YouTube and digital television, we have an abundance of comedy available to us, at a click of a button. And through our day to day experiences, if we are open to life, we can observe comical behaviours on every street corner. What a gift that is!

With fear being impressed onto the masses, laughter can take our mind off annoyances and suffering and bring us joy. When we laugh several times a day, our quality of life begins to improve. We become less stressed. We no longer “need” to take “things too seriously”. In fact, we can observe the madness and insanity in the world without being emotionally attached to it. This will bring incredible peace of mind and inner bliss.

How many times have you felt low until a friend or someone on television came along and made you laugh. All of a sudden you felt better. What happened? When you were laughing you changed your biochemistry and allowed yourself to be open to live in the present moment. You were no longer compulsively and obsessively thinking about “problems”, “obstacles” and “challenges”. If you laugh more often, you’ll be a much happier and more cheerful person, which will naturally place you in a position to attract more happy and positive experiences in life.

What can you do right now to laugh?

* Decide to have a night in to watch some of your favourite comedy films or television   shows at least once a week.  If you can do it in good company even better. It’s much more enjoyable to laugh with a group of people than to laugh by yourself.

* Start to observe that the only thing that makes life stressful is our perception of situations, rather than the actual situation itself.  Meditate on this.  See that in truth, most of life’s stress and worries are actually self-made and are not worthy of giving your attention to.

* Make a habit of connecting with people who bring the best out of you and who have a similar sense of humour. This will bring out a higher energy between you and your friends. As you laugh, you’ll be sending out positive energy into your environment.

* The next time you’re feeling flat, take several deep breaths and bring your attention to a comical memory that made you laugh. Hold onto this feeling and enjoy the sensational laughter that flows through you.

Overcoming Fear & Worry

saint leu sunset 225x300 Training & Coaching Blog

Fear and worry have been the cause of most of the disharmony in the world since humanity started to “think”. It has caused segregation, war, politics and the loss of countless innocent lives. It has driven people to the pinnacle of insanity.  When we look at the world today, with a multitude of countries in political, economic and physical war with one another, we can observe that fear is the cause of this pathological madness. It doesn’t help that news companies consistently pump fear into people and then go onto advertise “stress relief” pills during the adverts. The more fear that is pumped into society through the news, the more people will pop “happy” pills and become dependent on medication, which more often than not is produced by the very same companies sponsoring the news channels (or at least this is certainly the case in the US).

So what is fear and worry? Fear is the belief that we are not connected to the spirit and essence of life. It brings the feeling of disconnection from love, joy and peace.  It’s a cunning enemy, which tricks us into believing that we are our thoughts and emotions (ego or sense of self). The tragic thing is that when an infinite Soul (in a human body) believes he is his thoughts, he will be trapped in a mental prison. With over 60,000 repetitive thoughts consuming the mind every day, you can clearly see that to identify with a stream of thoughts is an awful burden. This causes suffering and emotional pain and limitation. It means that we are subject to whatever thoughts attack us, believing that we are trapped (this is the ego at play).

Fear and worry prevent people from being present in the moment. It also stops people from being creative and producing products and services to their highest potential. Worry literally steals your potential and limits you in all areas of your life. Thankfully, there are different tools that can derminish your fears and release your worries.

What can you do to overcome fear & worry?

* Acknowledge that you are not your thoughts or feelings. Become aware of the essence of your deathless Being.  Realise that you are a deathless Soul, having a physical human experience.

* Get into the habit of regular, daily meditation. There are over one hundred different ways to meditate, however simply bring your attention to your breathing (breath in and out). There is no need to force the life breath. Simply pay attention to it. This will take you out of the realm of thinking and into the infinite realm of being (Essence of the Soul). This creates calm, serenity and peace deep within.

* Cut down on watching the news. Most of it totally irrelevant to your day to day affairs and will only keep you locked into worry, panic and fear (which is the primary purpose of today’s commercial news channels). There is no need to watch it three times a day. If you must watch it, keep it to a quality news program once or twice a week.

* Keep reading inspirational and spiritual books. Listen to audios that inspire and watch films that are spiritually uplifting. Join book clubs and get some inspirational meetings together with friends. Keep your energy focused on abundance, joy, love, creativity, peace and happiness.

* Go to regular inspirational workshops and events. Start to network with open-minded people and build a support network of positive people.

* Do your very best to serve others well in your career or day to day affairs. The universe will take care of the rest through the Law of Cause & Effect.

* Continue writing appreciation in your gratitude journal. Write down at least twenty things every day that you are grateful for. If you can write more, even better! Remember that gratitude is a powerful energy field (vibrational frequency) that will place you in a state of abundance. Gratitude removes fear and worry and will attract more things into your life to be grateful for. Praise life and try to be compassionate to those who are lost in the madness of fear.

Perseverance

purple sunset serene evening 300x225 Training & Coaching BlogLet’s be honest with ourselves. At times, life can be incredibly challenging. There are times when the temptation to quit can become overwhelming, however, we can’t allow this to happen. There are no rewards in quitting. There are rewards for those who continue to persevere and adopt an unrelentingly persistent attitude. When we decide to create something from scratch there are going to be uncomfortable moments while we expand our capacity to become more effective. When we walk through these challenging moments, the most important principle is to keep our eyes focused on the prize.

The next time you feel as though you’ve hit a brick wall, sit back for a moment and start to visualize yourself in possession of your goal. The most important thing is that you do not resist your obstacles. Remember that what you resist must persist i.e. “where attention goes, energy flows.” It’s essential to be relaxed when thinking of a solution to your problem. Quite often, the remedy will reveal itself to you when you’re thinking about something else. This proven science of “letting go of the outcome” will allow the Universe to flow with and through you in a harmonious way.

Most people quit because they try to “battle” with their problems using the power of their will, rather than allowing their intuitive faculties to direct them to a solution. As they continue to try and run the show, they become more and more frustrated and call it a day. Don’t let that happen to you. If you have an obstacle, acknowledge it, and start to consider your options. Even if you cannot think of a way out, someone else has probably experienced a similar problem which they have triumphed over. Perhaps you can observe how they accomplished this. But remember, the most important thing is that you don’t quit. There are no rewards it quitting. And to quit means to fail.

What can you do to persevere?

* Acknowledge your obstacle but don’t give it any emotional power.

* Start to write down some possible solutions, while staying relaxed and calm at all times.  This will loosen up the channel for the Universe to flow with and through you.

* If you can’t find an immediate solution, focus on something else. Take your mind of the obstacle and come back to it when you’re in a more joyful frame of mind.

* Remind yourself that you’re a winner and winners NEVER quit. Affirm in your consciousness that everything will work out.

* And finally, stay focused on your vision and get emotionally involved i.e. “feel what it would feel like to have accomplished your goal.” Do this first thing in the morning and when you retire at night.

 Success & Prosperity Consciousness

SunRise1 300x253 Training & Coaching Blog

In order to excel in life, you must develop and build a prosperity and success consciousness.  In my book “A Ticket to Prosperity” there is a passage I have adopted for this article, below. It’s on Page 59/60, Chapter 8 – Building a Prosperity Consciousness:

“Without a prosperity consciousness, we would have no planes in the sky, no light bulbs, no books to read, no schools, no hospitals, no modern science or electricity, no internet or email, no cars or trains, no wealth to improve and help the community, no computers or no music available to the public, no films or cinemas, no boats or yachts, no mobile phones that allow us to speak to our loves ones who are far away and no holidays.  We would have no restaurants or hotels, no organizations to help those in need, no shopping malls or markets, no clothes, no nightclubs, no organisations to help humans and children in need, no organisations to help animals, no jobs. We would simply turn into helpless souls, digging into the ground, hoping for something to fall out of the sky.”

No man, woman or child who has ambition will excel in life without developing a success and prosperity consciousness.  Not understanding this is the reason the vast majority of people’s aspirations and dreams fail to materialise.  Every human being, deep down, knows what they would love to be doing. However, most people set goals that they “think” they can accomplish.  Therefore they sell themselves short and never really excel outside of their comfort zone.  Observe and study the general attitude of most people and you’ll be startled to realise that they have poverty consciousness (worrying about, lack, failure, limitation, tough times, and “it all going wrong”).  This of course was programmed into them by society and in their genes.

It took me a number of years, of relentless hard work reprogramming my subconscious mind and developing my spirituality before a sudden and powerful shift took place in my consciousness. This is not an easy task nor can it be accomplished over night.  Growth, development and an increase in ones self-belief can however, become a rich and fulfilling life-long process.  If you really want to overcome your fears and get to your chosen destination in life then rather than trying to change your circumstances (which is an effect of your beliefs), instead, begin to change your consciousness.

What can you do right now to develop a success and prosperity consciousness?

* Be honest with yourself and identify where your beliefs are in respects to success and prosperity.  Do you fear success (fear of having it or the fear or losing it)? Do you fear prosperity (fear of having it and the fear of losing it)?

* Indentify your negative beliefs and begin to replace them with empowering ideas and concepts.

* Create a goal your mind, which is beyond your wildest dreams. Write this down on a piece of paper and begin to bathe your consciousness with it. Keep repeating your goal over and over again with FEELING and EMOTION (feel what it would feel like to be prosperous and successful).

* For example, repeat the words, in the present tense, with emotion: “I AM grateful for the endless prosperity and success that is with me now.” Of course, you can change this statement to suit your personal desire however, the subconscious mind only responds to the “here and now”; never in the future. The time to be prosperous and successful is now.  The future and past do not exist. Now is the time!

* Invest in the book “A Ticket to Prosperity” and begin at once to follow its suggestions! Answer all of the questions in the book and meditate/reflect on every chapter. This will help to get you on the right track.

Going the Extra Mile (Extra Effort)

people running 300x200 Training & Coaching Blog

Going the extra mile when providing a service or producing a product is not a popular concept.  As a matter of fact, most people shudder with discomfort when they hear the words “do more than you’re paid to do.”  In every country, city and village most people are doing the bare minimum to get by.  In corporate and sales companies, members of staff do just enough to avoid being fired and employers pay their staff just enough so that they won’t get sued.

However, if we want to excel and accomplish big goals, doing the bare minimum will not be enough.  Putting little effort into a service or a project will only produce weak results.  Seriously consider this: there is a Great Law of the universe called Cause & Effect (sowing and reaping/action & re-action).  When a human being puts little effort into a goal, the Law of Cause & Effect must be activated to bring universal justice into action i.e. the Cause will be “poor effort” and the Effect will be “poor results”.  It’s astonishing how many sales people I’ve trained in the City of London who wanted to be “the head of sales” but were not prepared to put in the extra work that was required of them in order to accomplish this.  On the other hand, a member of staff getting into work early, leaving late and putting in extra effort would be promoted above them thus causing resentment and bad feeling in the aforementioned individuals.

In the world of sport, all great athletes train and work extremely hard behind the scenes. Without exception they put in more effort than is required of them.  David Beckham is a great example of a football player (soccer) who would be the first athlete on the pitch and the last one to leave during training sessions.  Michael Jordon was the same in Basket ball. Muhammad Ali did this as he conquered boxing.  Serena Williams mastered this philosophy in tennis.  Lionel Messi applied “going the extra mile” in football (soccer).  Tiger Woods put in extra effort into the world of golf.

Even in human relationships, going the extra mile pays! You cannot last in a loving relationship with your partner if you’re not willing to put in extra effort.  The relationship will crumble within 3 months.  The people who have happy and rich relationships put in extra work into their partnerships and take a regular inventory of how they can improve.

So we see that putting in extra effort into your work will pay in dividends in the long run.  And there is another wonderful asset to obtain by doing this.  As you go the extra mile in life, you’ll begin to develop a positive character and thus, will begin to attract similar people into your circle (birds of a feather flock together).

What can you do right now to go the extra mile?

* Identify what your targets are.  Be very clear!

* Write down how you can improve what you are doing.  For example, if you are an athlete then how can you improve your training sessions?  What can you apply into your daily habits that will push you further?  If for example, you work in an office then what could you do to improve your work ethic? Could you get into work earlier? Could you leave work later in order to put in extra effort into your target? Could you ask your employer if there are any extra tasks that you could take on, thinking of no extra pay or financial compensation?

* Get into the habit of praising any new opportunities that can help you advance in your career or chosen path.

 Mind over Matter

draft lens11064221module101231961photo 1274240052ConsciousMind.v1 0042 Training & Coaching BlogAll of the world’s greatest achievers in sports, films, politics, industry and religion respected the concept of “mind over matter.” Your mind-set is everything! If you have a positive frame of mind, you’ll dig deeper into your reservoir of limitless potential. Once you begin to train your mind to focus on solutions, rather than problems, you’ll release an abundance of energy which you may have never experienced before. Think of a professional heavy-weight boxer. He gets tired in the 8th round and starts to tell himself “this is getting too hard”. That one negative thought and belief will change his body posture and will create a weak performance which could cost him the match. Rather than pushing himself to the limit, he’ll fall short of his full potential and will start the cycle of low confidence and destructive thinking. Consider a banker who is under enormous pressure to deliver her weekly target. If she tells herself: “she won’t make it”, then she’ll start to slow down. Her pace and endurance will drop and her attitude will become despondent towards her objective. If however, she tells herself “I am going to get this done no matter what,” she’ll increase her levels of energy, stamina and will have the correct attitude to get the job done. You cannot complete any objective or goal with a negative attitude unless you are paid to have a negative attitude and even then, you’ll be called upon to take on new challenges to keep your career blossoming.

What can you do right now to create a positive mind-set?

* Focus on the solution to your challenge (notice I wrote challenge rather than problem). By all means, acknowledge your difficulty but then spend the rest of your energy focused on the SOLUTION! Ask yourself “What can I do to solve this and who else has overcome a similar difficulty?” Remember, the more positive questions we ask, the more positive answers we will manifest and thus, our life experience will become more positive.

* Convince yourself that YOU HAVE ALREADY ACCOMPLISHED YOUR GOAL. Repeat these words over and over again. This may appear to be lying to yourself but understand that you MUST own something in your consciousness before you can experience it at the level of matter (the physical universe). Your subconscious mind only responds to the “here and now”. When you set a goal and say “I’m going to” you’ll decrease your chances by 85%. When you set a goal and say “This is already mine” then you increase your chances by 85%. Of course, no goal can be manifested with no action on your part. You must take lots of action until the goal is physically in your presence. But by accepting your goal in your consciousness even before you start to take action, you’ll start to shape the universe around your belief – people places and things will begin to materialize around you to help manifest your belief. This is a scientific fact!

Emotional State

emoticons Training & Coaching BlogYour emotional state or the vibration you are in is what develops your self-belief. You cannot endure the challenges that appear while creating your goal without nurturing a positive emotional state. Although we cannot control how we feel all of the time, we can form a new habit of developing our emotional state with intelligence. If we feel sad, then we can accept it for what it is – it’s just an emotion. As you train your emotional intelligence, when you are feeling low and negative, you can alter the vibration you’re in through thinking about inspirational ideas or by focusing on something positive. With the right emotional state, you can overcome incredible challenges and can create your chosen career or goal.

What can you do right now to create a positive emotional state?

* You can focus on a positive thought, idea or belief. Hold onto this thought and you’ll notice a shift in your emotional state.

* You can exercise your body – walking, jogging, swimming, cycling or any other form of exercise.

* You can meditate – yoga or traditional meditation.

* You can listen to music or watch an inspirational documentary or film.

* Get an MP3 copy of “Unlimited Self-Belief” which is at our shop. This will make it easy for you to start the process of creating self-belief.

Positive Habits

break bad habits1 Training & Coaching BlogYour habits (rituals) can make or break you. We call a multitude of habits, a paradigm. Your habits are formed first as ideas and beliefs. Many people have destructive habits which they are not even aware of – they are unconscious. Unless these negative habits change, then disappointing results MUST follow. The results in your life are a manifestation of your beliefs, ideas and habits. When you decide to break free from dis-empowering rituals, you’ll experience resistance and will feel uncomfortable, at first. This is perfectly natural. It’s important that you walk through this process and be strong. It takes at least 30 days to ignite a new habit. After 90 days, it’ll become habitual and within 6-9 months it will become a way of life.

What can you do right now to create new positive habits?

* Identify your negative habits – write them down. Then write down the new habits that you wish to create.

* Create an intent (a goal) to build new habits. Write this goal down and read it on a regular basis – the goal must be written in the present tense i.e. “I AM grateful now that I exercise everyday”.

* Get into the habit of studying new material that is relevant to your career or chosen goal, daily.

* Get into the habit of exercising on a regular basis.

* Create a habit to eat healthily and live a clean life.

* Get an MP3 copy of “The Power, Love & Abundance Program” at our shop. This will make it easier for you to create new positive habits.

Uplift Yourself With Music

ipod people blue 300x240 Training & Coaching BlogAs a former professional House DJ/Producer, I know how powerful music is. It can make thousands of people come together and dance to celebrate life. As elementary as it might appear, you ought to bathe your mind with uplifting music that makes you FEEL GOOD. You can quickly change your emotional state by playing your favourite songs. Music is a spiritual thing that can spark your imagination and creative mental faculties. I have observed athletes perform better with music that they adored playing just before they competed in a competition. Music is what feeling sounds like. The time to feel good is now.

What can you do right now to uplift yourself with music?

* Get an I-Pod or have music available to you at any given moment. Be ready to change your emotional state, when needed.

* Invest in new music every week. Keep your music collection fresh. Go the extra mile when searching for new music.

* Play uplifting music when you’re working out or before a high-paced activity. Of course, you can always play mellow and chilled out music. Go with the flow and let the music compliment the environment you’ll be entering.

Visualize

visualize 300x193 Training & Coaching Blog

You have the power to co-create your own reality with the universe. Any image that you hold in the mind has the possibility to come into fruition. Everything that has been created in the physical world was once an image. Right now in this very moment, you have the ability to create a picture (image) and imagine your wildest dream as reality. As you hold onto this image and begin to attach emotion (feeling what it would feel like to have your goal), you will begin to impress this idea onto your subconscious mind. Once your subconscious mind accepts this vision as a reality, IT MUST COME INTO FRUITION. This is an absolute Law! Consider seriously that your subconscious mind will begin to activate the Law of Vibration and Attraction which will then manifest people, places and things to make your image a reality. All peak performance athletes know the importance of visualization, just as a film director does. The time to visualize your goal is now!

What can you do right now to start the visualization process?

* Close your eyes and dream your wildest dreams. Hold onto the image that resonates with your being.

* Start to get emotionally involved with your vision. Feel your goal as though it’s already yours.

* Begin to give thanks (express gratitude) for your vision in advance.

* Create a vision board and focus on the images with emotion twice a day.

* Visualize before you retire at night and first thing in the morning.

* Get an MP3 copy of “The Technology of Visualization” at our shop. This will make it very easy for you to visualize.

Gratitude

thank you 01 300x199 Training & Coaching BlogThe power of gratitude will deepen your life experience and will enrich you with a positive mental attitude. When you are focused on appreciating the big and small things in life, you will manifest increasing good and abundance. We live in a new fast-paced world that is more demanding than ever – demanding productivity. Without the tools to handle this world, stress and an unappreciated attitude can begin to contaminate the mind. This simply won’t do! In order to live in a state of joy and belief, gratitude is essential. When you focus on the good in your life, you’ll have more power to create even more good. Gratitude is a powerful emotion and when expressed in our habits, can create everlasting positivity for those around us. Quite simply, an attitude of gratitude can bring you enormous success because you’ll be continually focused on the good; and as you focus and think about the good things in life, so you will attract more good, like a magnet.

What can you do right now to start the gratitude process?

* Get a notepad or a journal and begin to write down as many things that you value and give thanks to them. A simple phrase such as: “I am grateful for fresh air, for my health, for my life, for my family and friends” will set you on the right track.

* Train your thoughts to focus on things for which you are grateful.

* Learn to grow into praising people, places and things rather than practising the negative habit of feeling envious of others’ achievements. Praise anything that is positive, then praise it in your consciousness i.e. “I AM grateful for human beings who care about the less fortunate” etc.

* Share your gratitude and appreciation with your close friends – people who you trust and then express your gratitude through your actions and habits. Give back to society and watch the wonderful circumstances that unexpectedly unfold.

* Get a complimentary MP3 copy of “The Power of Gratitude” at our home page. This will make it very easy for you to instantly become grateful.
